Travel Found Me Before I Found Myself.

It started the way most adventures do — quietly, almost accidentally. My first trips were close to my home - Malaysia: weekend escapes and drive to Singapore. But somewhere along the way, the map got bigger: Japan, China, Thailand, Europe South Korea, India, Morocco and more to come. Each country peeled back another layer of who I thought I was and revealed someone I hadn't met yet.

I started writing because I want to “document” my journey for many years to come. And with photography which I fell in love with, I want to write a journal of my travel stories. Then here, on this blog.

Now, Mich's Memoir is more than a travel log. It's where I process what I see, reflect on what I feel and learnt, and share the stories that actually matter — the quiet moments between the highlights.

I also read. Occassionally. And I photograph. Everything.

Because a photo tells you what something looked like. A story tells you what it felt like.

This is my corner of the internet where nothing gets forgotten.
